What we run
Google Local Services Ads, Google Business Profile, lead tracking and reporting
Their tools
CallRail with one number per source. Their own developer runs the website and their own team runs Meta ads

Where they started

Google was the gap. Their in-house Meta ads brought in almost all the leads, at a high cost.

  • No Local Services Ads. Google calls came from the Business Profile alone: 20 call taps in all of August 2026.
  • Search Console had no record of the website appearing in Google search before August 31.
  • The Business Profile listed carpet and repair services they don't offer.
  • 42 Google reviews at 5.0 stars.

What we did, in order

  1. August 31, 2026

Signed. The brief was simple: Google isn't producing, fix that.

Why: Their Meta ads were already run in-house. Google was the part they hired us to fix.

  2. September 7, 2026

Rewrote 5 Business Profile service descriptions: flooring installation, baseboards, ceramic tile flooring, floor repairs and floor tile installation.

Why: Service text tells Google which searches the profile should show up for.

  3. September 9, 2026

Searched each city and service phrase on Google to see who ranks in the map pack and the ads today.

Why: Know who you're up against in each town before picking where to push.

  4. September 2026

Set up Local Services Ads under the Flooring category and got it verified. Turned off carpet, repair and refinishing job types. Kept all 39 cities they serve switched on.

Why: You pay per lead in LSA, so job types they don't take get switched off before the first lead.

  5. September 18, 2026

    Local Services Ads went live.

    Why: 18 days after signing.

  6. September 2026

Rewrote the Business Profile description around installs and hot-mop showers, and removed 9 services they don't offer, including carpet repair.

Why: Showers and bathrooms get pushed through the profile, since LSA runs flooring jobs only.

  7. September 2026

Published 14 Google posts and 1 offer, uploaded 17 new photos, optimized 79 existing photos and made 1 video. Replied to 3 new reviews, so 45 of 46 had a reply.

Why: Posts, real photos and review replies keep the profile current.

  8. September 2026

Submitted the website to Google Search Console and requested indexing.

Why: Google had no record of the site in search before August 31.

  9. October 1, 2026

Delivered the September report and a lead tracker listing every one of the 196 people who called, texted or filled a form in September, once each, across every channel. Flagged 1 junk LSA lead to Google.

Why: One list, every source, so the owner can see what each channel costs per person who reached out.

Results

The $85,000 is the owner's count of added revenue in the first 30 days. It covers the whole business, including the Meta ads their in-house team runs, so we don't credit it to any one channel.

  • 34 LSA leads in the first 13 days, September 18 to 30: 32 calls and 2 messages.
  • Their own CallRail matched Google's LSA count exactly: 32 callers and 2 messages.
  • 34 more LSA leads from October 1 to 16, 2026, for 68 in the first four weeks live.
  • By CallRail's count, LSA cost $126 per person who reached out in September. Meta cost $146.

What took longer or didn't work

  • $177.87 per charged lead in the first two weeks is high.
  • 25 of 32 LSA calls were picked up in September, 78%. Six of the seven missed calls came in on weekdays during business hours.
  • Very few calls get tagged with an outcome: 4 calls were tagged booked in CallRail in September.
  • Bathroom remodeling can't run in Local Services Ads for them yet, so bathrooms rely on the Business Profile.
